The error code 0x0003 is a common error code when it comes to the GeForce software. When the same error is facing by the user, undoubtedly, it becomes an annoying situation.

Usually, when this error occurs, it is because your NVidia drivers are faulty or in the updated drivers, there might be some old and corrupt files. 

The other reason is that the NVidia telemetry is not permitted to interact with the desktop.

If one of the services amongst NVidia Display Service, NVidia Network Service Container, and NVidia Local System Container isn’t running, this problem might occur.

GeForce experience error code 0x0003 windows 7 requires rebooting, so the first thing to do is try and restart your computer and check if the error resolves. You can also try to reset the software itself. 

For that, you need to follow the below-given steps:  

Step 1:

  • Get access to the task manager dialogue box from the search bar by typing task manager, or you can open task manager from the taskbar.

Step 2:

  • Click on all the NVidia background programs which are running.

Step 3: 

  • Select End Task.

Step 4:

  • Rerun the software as administrator.

Method 1: Uninstall the drivers 

Uninstall NVidia GeForce software. It will ensure that you get rid of all the corrupt old files that were causing the error. It is easy to get rid of old files so that you can install the updated drivers.

For most of the users, this issue got resolved by just reinstalling the software. Sometimes since the software might be faulty, the best solution is to reinstall it.

  • Right-click on all the NVidia programs one by one and uninstall all of them.

Method 2: Permit Nvidia Telemetry

It is relatively simple to fix this, as well. Here are the steps to do so:

Step 1:

  • Press windows and R key together to open Run window. In the search bar enter services.msc. And it will open the services on your screen. 

Step 2:

  • Scroll down the services to find out Nividia Telemetry Container. Find it and right-click and click on Properties. 

Step 3:

  • Click on log on in the properties tab and click on the box which says allow.

Step 4:

  • At last click on apply and then save. 

Step 5:

  • In the services window, check all the services. Make sure they all are running. Check and see if the GeForce experience error code 0x0003 is still showing. It should be resolved by now. 

Method 3: Force restart all the NVidia services

You have to ensure that all the services are running smoothly. For that you can do a simple force restart of your services: 

Step 1:

  • Press windows and R key together to open Run window. In the search bar enter services.msc. And it will open the services on your screen.

  • Find all the services that are linked to NVidia and select restart.

Method 4: Reset Network Adaptor

Step 1:

  • Open up Run window by pressing Windows and R key together.

  • Next, type cmd and then press Ctrl/ Shift/ Enter together to open up a command prompt(cmd) as an administrator. 

Step 3:

  • In the cmd, type: netsh winsock reset and press enter to reset the network adaptor.

Method 5: Install latest Graphics driver 

It is the last resort to try if none of those mentioned above options is working. None of the solutions discussed above worked; the previous solution is to install the graphic driver manually. 

Step 1:

  • Press windows and R key together to open Run window. In the search bar enter appwiz.cpl. And it will open the programs and features window on your screen.  

Step 2:

  • Find every driver related to NVidia. One by one right-click on all and uninstall them. It will remove every driver, which is linked to your GPU. 

Step 3:

  • A pop-up will prompt on the screen to remove the drivers from your computer, allow it and remove the drivers. 

Step 4:

  • Please restart the computer once they are uninstalled. 

Step 5:

  • Install the software again by using this link. Configure all the details and set it up. 

Step 6:

  • After the download, install the updated drivers. The issue should be resolved by now. 

Method 6: Create a new account

Even after trying all the above solutions, you see the same GeForce error code 0x0003 on your screen; you are out of luck with the other options.

All you can do now is create a new user account after uninstalling all the drivers.
